2024 UT Academic Department Head Professional Development Conference

Department heads and academic unit leadership from across the UT System came together to enhance their leadership skills, network, exchange insights and strengthen their impact within the university system.

Inaugural Anti-Hazing Summit developed to increase systemwide collaboration around hazing prevention, reporting and response.

UT System Virtual Summit 2020

The UT System will host a fall virtual summit – Becoming One UT: Student Success and Leadership during Turbulent Times – to discuss topics of greatest concern to the UT System in 2020. This event will provide an opportunity for campus leaders across the UT System to collaborate, discuss and share ideas about student success and leadership.

 

UT System English Summit 2019

On May 14, 2019, the UT System hosted the English department and Writing Center staff at Spark in Nashville, TN.

 

UT System Mental Health and Wellness Summit 2019

The UT System hosted a fall summit that aimed to bring together a special group of campus leaders and students from across the UT System to share resources and discuss ways to improve mental health and wellness for UT students.

Joint UT and TMATYC 2018 Math Conference

On April 6-7 2018, the UT System and the Tennessee Mathematics Association of Two Year Colleges (TMATYC) co-hosted a Math Summit in Martin, Tennessee.

 

UT System Mattering and Belonging Summit

On November 7, 2018, the Office of Academic Affairs and Student Success hosted a system-wide event for Chief Academic and Student Affairs Officers and their staff in Nashville, TN. This one-day event provided a unique opportunity for campus leaders across the UT System to network, collaborate, and share ideas about student success, retention, and engagement.
